What we focus on

Lab Upgrade is a specialized software consultancy focused on software architecture, technical leadership and hands-on development for scientific instruments, laboratory equipment, industrial automation and IoT. Our founder and the specialists we work with bring nearly 20 years of experience delivering complex technical solutions.

Most of our work means landing inside a large unfamiliar codebase and becoming useful quickly — modernizing legacy products, fixing performance, integrating AI and LLM features, and building across firmware, backend and interface when the problem spans the whole stack.

We work directly with manufacturers, and we also step in as the senior technical partner for consultancies on their own client engagements — white-label delivery, pre-sales support, or extra capacity when a project needs depth they do not have in-house.
